Top 15 Questions About ChatGPT (Answered By ChatGPT)

Written by Kevin Phillips | 2/16/23 4:13 PM

I don’t know about you, but I can’t seem to escape all the chatter about ChatGPT these days.

When I open up LinkedIn, it seems like it’s all my friends and colleagues are discussing.

When I go to my Google Discover feed, half the recommended articles are about ChatGPT.

When I have one-on-ones with coworkers, our conversations tend to devolve into ways we’ve been using ChatGPT.

Heck, I can’t even pop open YouTube to watch trick-shot videos with my kids without half my recommended videos being about artificial intelligence tools.

I realize that most of this is my fault because I keep clicking on recommended articles, videos, and conversation threads about it.

But I can’t help myself. This is one of the most fascinating tools I’ve encountered in my career, so I’ve been spending a lot of time figuring out how to use ChatGPT for marketing.

What’s really interesting is how polarizing some of the debates are. Writers and content creators seem to worry it might replace them. Business owners seem excited at the prospect of creating more content for their businesses faster.

I’ve seen and heard a lot of the questions people have about the tool and some of their biggest concerns.

From practical questions like:

  • What is ChatGPT?
  • How does ChatGPT work?
  • How accurate are ChatGPTs answers?

To questions of concern:

  • Will Chat GPT replace search engines?
  • Will ChatGPT replace content creators?
  • Is this how Skynet starts?

I’ve been listening to opinion after opinion on these topics from thought leaders in several spaces. Their answers range from "ChatGPT is a cool new tool your business can harness" to "put your pet collar on, it’s time to serve your new robot overlords."

I’m growing tired of listening to all these experts speculate about ChatGPT and what AI tools might hold for the future.

We’re all hunkering over our computers discussing ChatGPT and weighing in with our own insights and opinions. But has anyone thought to ask ChatGPT to answer these questions itself?

So that’s exactly what I want to do. I’m going to use this article to go direct to the source.

The first step will be to ask ChatGPT to list the most common questions people have about it. To be fair, ChatGPT won’t know the current hot-button questions people have because the language model it uses to generate responses is only through 2021. It has no specific knowledge beyond that date.

However, it's  smart enough to intuit what people are probably asking.
