Leading Manufacturer Aligns Sales and Marketing with Seamless Systems

Background

This U.S.-based manufacturer is trusted nationwide for keeping infrastructure projects moving. Their specialized equipment is deployed in all 50 states, relied upon by government agencies, contractors, and engineers who need safe, reliable access in hard-to-reach places. With decades of credibility behind them and a reputation for safety and innovation, they were already the go-to in their niche.

But being an industry leader in physical operations didn’t mean their digital operations matched the same standard. Behind the scenes, the sales and marketing tech stack was a patchwork of disconnected tools. And like many growing businesses, they were feeling the strain of systems that couldn’t keep up with their momentum.

The challenge

Three core issues were holding the company back:

  • A disjointed digital ecosystem: Their WordPress site wasn’t connected to HubSpot, forms weren’t integrated, and tracking was essentially nonexistent. Without clear visibility into website traffic, form submissions, or lead journeys, marketing felt like flying blind.
  • Manual sales processes: Leads from campaigns had to be manually assigned in Salesforce. Follow-ups weren’t consistent, and sales reps were left without a full picture of a lead’s engagement. Time was wasted on tasks that should’ve been automated.
  • Inconsistent reporting: Sales reports were riddled with inaccuracies—marketing email opens were being logged as “calls” in Salesforce, inflating numbers and eroding trust in the data. With no reliable way to measure ROI, leadership couldn’t make informed decisions.

For a company already operating at a high level in their industry, these bottlenecks were more than frustrating—they were keeping the team from seeing their true potential.

The solution

The onboarding approach was intentionally strategic, hands-on, and future-focused. Instead of patching gaps, we laid a foundation that would scale with the business.

Seamless system integration

HubSpot was fully connected to the client’s existing tech stack. Tracking code was deployed on their site, HubSpot-hosted landing pages and blogs were spun up, and existing forms were rebuilt in HubSpot for direct capture and automation.

Workflows that worked for people

We set up automation to make the sales team’s job easier—not harder. For example, new form submissions instantly routed to the right rep in Salesforce. Follow-up emails were triggered automatically when prospects engaged with marketing content. And conditional logic ensured urgent quote requests rose to the top of the queue.

Clean data, clear insights

We untangled the Salesforce integration so email activities logged correctly (as emails, not calls). Duplicate company records—over 1,100 of them—were flagged for review and merge. Then, we introduced HubSpot’s custom reporting tools, helping the team build B2B dashboards that finally gave them reliable, actionable insights.

The results

  • Lead handling went from manual to automatic: Campaign submissions flowed directly into Salesforce, accurately logged and instantly assigned. No more bottlenecks.
  • Reporting became trustworthy: With clean, properly logged activity data, the sales team gained visibility into actual performance instead of inflated reports.
  • The team felt empowered: Equipped with HubSpot know-how and a roadmap for the future, the client’s marketing and sales teams had the clarity and confidence to plan next steps—like leveraging HubSpot’s Content Hub for a website redesign and exploring social retargeting campaigns.

What once felt like disconnected systems and “semi-decent” processes evolved into a streamlined, data-driven engine ready to support long-term growth.

The bigger picture

This story isn’t just about technology. It’s about giving a team the ability to see their work clearly, act on insights faster, and trust their systems to keep pace with their reputation.

When you’re already leading your industry in innovation and reliability, your digital ecosystem shouldn’t be what slows you down. With the right strategy, even the most fragmented systems can be transformed into a growth engine that works as hard as your team does.

👉 That’s the Media Junction difference: we don’t just “set up HubSpot”—we build scalable ecosystems that empower teams to make smarter decisions, eliminate friction, and unlock their full potential
