supporting strategist

Media Junction is looking for a Supporting Strategist to partner closely with our Business Strategists in building smart, data-driven website strategies. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented marketer who loves research, structure, and turning insights into clear recommendations that improve user experience and performance.

As a Supporting Strategist, you’ll work behind the scenes (and sometimes directly with clients) to support website strategy development, research, SEO planning, and project coordination across multiple engagements.

about the role

You may have read a bit about us on Glassdoor (if you haven’t, you should). We’ll be honest — not everyone thrives here. We’re built for A-players. There’s no bench. Everyone is on the field and expected to contribute. Our clients have high expectations, and so do we.

Still with us? Good. That’s exactly who we’re looking for.

We’ve intentionally built an environment where high performers can grow. A typical day is never typical — and we love that. You’ll spend part of your day collaborating with clients and teammates, and part of it heads-down executing with focus. We play to win — for our clients and for ourselves. We set ambitious goals because we believe in aiming higher than what feels comfortable.

Our Supporting Strategists are right in the middle of the action. You’ll assist our Business Strategists with strategy development, research, data analysis, reporting, and client communication. You’ll help build the foundation that makes our websites perform. The work matters. Deadlines matter. Accountability matters.

At every stage of the website process, we’re researching, identifying conversion opportunities, analyzing competitors, refining information architecture, and optimizing for search engines and humans. We use tools like HubSpot, Google Analytics (GA4), Semrush, and others — so you’ll need to be comfortable with data and technology.

We use both sides of our brain. We create strategy decks, SEO documentation, redirect plans, and websites that drive measurable business results. We do this because we’re curious. Because we ask better questions. Because we care about the experience of the end user.

wondering if you are the right fit?

If you get excited about presenting ideas and explaining technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders… If you love digging into research and turning data into strategic recommendations… If you hold yourself accountable and thrive in a fast-moving, high-expectation environment… And if you have strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills…

You’ll fit right in.
